A stay on the Sunshine Coast wouldn't be same without spending a day experiencing some of the fun-filled attractions that it has to offer.

If you are after pure unadulterated entertainment then these attractions will satisfy your appetite with great amusement rides, wildlife encounters, thrilling shows and nature's exhibits.

Here's some of the best attractions on the Sunshine Coast:

1. Underwater World Sea Life Mooloolaba

SEA LIFE Mooloolaba is Queensland’s largest aquarium and oceanarium with one of the largest and most diverse arrays of marine life – both above and under the water – on display in Australia!

See the newly renovated shark exhibit and ten other amazing zones that each highlight a different aspect of the aquatic kingdom – from the sleek stingrays in the Bay of Rays, to the fun and furry mammals of Seal Island and the Otter Empire, to the seven different species of shark in the Shark Shipwreck zone – there’s truly something for all members of the family at Underwater World SEA LIFE Mooloolaba.

Admission: Adults $31.20, Children $20.80. Book with Experience Oz.

Underwater World Sea Life Mooloolaba is located at Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba.

2. Australia Zoo

Queensland’s Australia Zoo, made famous by the late, great Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, is often referred to as Australia’s best zoo and is one of the Sunshine Coast’s absolute must-do family attractions. Renowned for its balance of both variety of animals and upbeat and informative wildlife shows, Australia Zoo is the closest thing in the country to an “animal theme park”.

Australia Zoo features a huge range of animals, shows and many exhibits that each highlight a different aspect of the animal kingdom, such as the Crocoseum where you’ll be able to see crocodiles jumping to be fed, the open-range Africa exhibit, the Tiger Temple and much more.

Admission: Adults $59.00, Children $35.00. Book with Experience Oz.

Australia Zoo is located at 1638 Steve Irwin Way, Beerwah.
